Improvements Made to Parks Infrastructure

Improvements have recently been made at a number of parks, including Hobbs Park, Holcom Park, Outlet Park, the Lawrence Tennis Center, and Veterans Park.  A few pictures of the improvements are attached.

Carpool Connection Launches

The Lawrence Transit System and the Mid-America Regional Council's RideShare program have teamed up to offer a free, online matching service for commuters interested in carpooling.  The service, called Carpool Connection, is available to residents who commute to, from or within the greater Kansas City region, including Lawrence, Topeka and Leavenworth in Kansas, and St. Joseph, Blue Springs and Harrisonville in Missouri.  For more information, or to sign up, go to http://marc.greenride.com/.
