CHANGE ORDER NUMBER 3

CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS

This change order number 3 to the Agreement dated June 24, 2003 between the City of Lawrence, Kansas (CITY) and MV Transportation, Inc. (MV) is dated this 1^st day of February, 2006.  The City and MV agree as follows:

The CITY and MV agree to restructure the MV staffing requirement to add one (1) FTE “Road Supervisor” to comply with Agreement terms under RFP2003-01, Part II “Scope of Work”, Section 4 “Required Staffing”, Subsection 4.1 that states, “The Contractor, at a minimum shall provide one FTE on-duty supervisor for every 10 on-duty-driving assignments or increments thereof.”  Currently there are 2 FTE on-duty supervisors for the 20 on-duty driving assignments for both fixed-route and paratransit service.  Due rising demand for T-Lift paratransit service and to eliminate denials, an increase of 24 hours of weekly T-Lift service on weekday afternoons and on Saturdays has been added.  The addition in T-Lift service hours has resulted in one additional daily driving assignment bring the total to 21 on-duty driving assignments for both fixed-route and paratransit service.

           * Subject to annual appropriation by City Commission.

With the exception of the change above, the Agreement between MV and City is not changed.
