CONFERENCE CALL

March 9, 2006

Call to Order

The meeting was called to order by Donna Osness, chairperson.

Medical Executive Committee’s Recommendations

Dr. Penn presented the Medical Executive Committee’s recommendations for approval:

MEDICAL STAFF – New Appointments:

• James Grantham, MD  (Active Staff; Int. Med./ Cardiology)
• Warren Johnson, MD  (Active Staff; Int. Med./ Cardiology)

Appointments effective 3/9/2006 through 6/30/2007 with Internal Medicine/Cardiology

privileges as requested.  There will be provisional periods of Dr. Grantham’s and Dr. Johnson’s new memberships for this initial period of appointment.  They are with Cardiovascular Consultants practice in Kansas City.

MEDICAL STAFF – Resignations:

• David Steinhaus, MD (Courtesy Staff, Internal Medicine/Cardiology) – Resignation effective 10/14/05

ALLIED HEALTH STAFF

• Jason Kidd, CRNA (Allied Health Staff/Nurse Anesthesia)

Appointment effective 3/9/2006 through 12/31/2007 with assignment of duties as requested.  There will be a provisional period of Mr. Kidd’s new membership for this initial period of appointment. 

            MOTION: made by Judy Keller, seconded by

            Sheryl Jacobs to approve the Medical Executive

            Committee’s recommendations.  Motion carried.
