Scope:                   City of Lawrence, Kansas is soliciting proposals and experience information to be used in selecting a principal consultant to perform executive search services for the position of City Manager, City of Lawrence, Kansas.

 

Responses                Due:  3:00 p.m. April 25, 2006

Materials should be submitted in PC format Microsoft Word files delivered either via email or if size requires, on a CD.  In the event a vendor creates materials on a non-PC platform or in a software package other than a Microsoft Word, Excel or Power-Point, material should be submitted as a PDF file.

Selection

Criteria:              1.  The Respondent’s capability to perform all aspects of the executive search process.

 

2.      The Respondent’s familiarity with best practices in the executive search process.

 

3.      The Respondent’s qualifications and reputation as an experienced consultant in executive search services for municipal organizations.

 

4.      The Respondent’s proposed cost of services (although the lowest cost will not be the determinative factor);

 

5.      Any other factors relevant to the vendor’s capacity and willingness to satisfy the City.

 

Responses should include recommended plan for search activities, experience with similar searches, references, projected timeframe, biographical information of firm staff assisting in the search, and projected cost.
