RE:	Study Session – KDOT and SLT :  Staff Direction Notes

At the study session on March 29, 2006 the Commission requested that staff:  send KDOT a letter with a copy of the Commission goals as they relate to the South Lawrence Trafficway and the Commission further requested that a future regular agenda item include the Notice of Intent (NOI) as it relates to the federal law (4(f)) review process for the recently appropriated federal funds for the SLT project.  The purpose for the regular agenda item will be to receive Commission direction on any input or comment the Commission desires to provide in this federal review process.
