Used police car purchase |
The 2006 budget calls for the purchase of two (2) used Kansas Highway Patrol cars from the State of Kansas. The cars will be used by Police/Investigations and Police/Administration. The two vehicles being replaced have high mileage, high maintenance costs and are unreliable. The two Highway Patrol cars are 2004’s and are available for $13,550.00 and $13,250.00, each.
Recommendation:
Approve purchase of two (2) used Highway Patrol cars from the State of Kansas in the amount of $13,550.00 and $13,250.00, each totaling $26,800.00. (Police Department/Investigations and Police Department/Administration)
