RE:	Memorial Scoreboard

Staff recommends the acceptance of a bid received from Athco Vendor # 69 for $17,260., for a Fair Play LED baseball scoreboard with wireless control system. This purchase is being made on behalf of the Gale Armbrister Memorial Committee.  Funds for this purchase have been donated for a memorial at Ice Field at Holcom Ball Complex.

The committee reviewed the different scoreboards available and chose this scoreboard feeling it met all of their specifications and needs.

Please place this item on the February 28 , 2006 City Commission consent agenda permitting the parks and recreation department permission to proceed with this purchase.
