RE:

Stoneridge south of West 6th Street

 

The City has received a request for the establishment of a special assessment benefit district to construct Stoneridge Drive south of West 6th Street.   Pursuant to the City’s development policy, this project would involve City at-large participation because of the road width at the intersection/approach at Stoneridge and West 6th Street.  This City at-large cost is not included in the City’s capital improvement debt budget for 2006 or for future year.  The City may receive other similar requests in the future for City at-large participation for road projects which are not currently budgeted in the City’s CIP budget (e.g. George Williams Way north of West 6th Street).

 

City Commission direction is needed on whether to proceed with the establishment of the benefit district at this time.
