RE:              Appointments to boards and commissions

I recommend the following individuals for the appointments listed below.  I have included phone numbers.  Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments.  I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Recycling & Resource Conservation Advisory Board:

Appoint Aimee Stewart (749.4260) to the position vacated by Jeff Severin, which will expire 12/31/07.

Lawrence-Douglas County Advocacy Council on Aging:

Reappoint John Hope to an additional term that will expire 12/31/08.  (The appointment memo dated 12/27/05 had an error by indicating that John Studdard would be reappointed when it should have read John Hope.)
