On March 1, 2005 the City o Lawrence opened proposals for the following:

Bid #0505 – Contract Mowing – Parks and Recreation

Parks and Recreation bid out contract mowing for district #1(see attachment).  Some of these areas have been contracted in the past but would like to add areas such as street right-of-ways, medians, and other non-park properties.   This will allow more staff time for park maintenance.

Recommendation:

Approve bid from Master Lawns in the amount of $16,230.00  (Special Recreation Fund)
