RE:	7^th and Kentucky Geometric, Traffic Signal Improvements Project No. 41-SI1-803(S) Execute Agreement No. 152-04

On April 22, 2003 the City Commission accepted funding for improvements to the intersection at 7^th and Kentucky.  The project will include traffic signals, reconstruction of 7^th  & Kentucky east approximately 125 feet, and relocating the Post Office drop-off drive on to Kentucky Street.  This project is being funded 90% by the State and 10% by the City with a maximum State share of $160,000.  On October 7, 2003 the City hired Professional Engineering Consultants (PEC) to provide engineering services.  The estimated total project cost, including construction and engineering, is $285,500.00.
