NOTICE OF HEARING ON THE PROPOSED MAXIMUM ASSESSMENTS TO PAY A PORTION OF THE COSTS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF PETERSON ROAD FROM KASOLD DRIVE TO APPROXIMATELY 900 FEET WEST OF MONTEREY WAY, INCLUDING PROPERTY ACQUISITION, TRAFFIC CALMING DEVICES, BICYCLE FACILITIES, SUBGRADE STABILIZATION, STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS, WATER MAIN, AND OTHER NECESSARY AND APPROPRIATE IMPROVEMENTS, AS AUTHORIZED BY RESOLUTION 6519

 

The Board of Commissioners of the City of Lawrence, Kansas, will meet on Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at 6:35 p.m. or thereafter, in the City Commission Chambers, City Hall, 6 East 6th Street to hear any written or oral objections on the report of property to be assessed because of the following improvement:

 

The construction of Peterson Road from Kasold Drive to approximately 900  feet  west of Monterey Way, including property acquisition, traffic calming devices, bicycle facilities, subgrade stabilization, stormwater improvements, water main and other necessary and appropriate improvements, as authorized by Resolution 6519.  The maximum costs being assessed to property in the benefit district total $3,420,000.00
