Re:                Vacation of Right Of Way

The City Commission will hold a public hearing on February 10, 2004 to consider the vacation of a portion of right of way at the southwest corner of Pinewood Drive and Michigan Street.  The request comes from the Children’s Learning Center due to storm drainage improvements that need to be constructed for additional parking for staff.

Notices were mailed to owners within a 200-foot radius and all utilities were contacted.  No public comment was received and there are no conflicts with any of the utilities. 

Action Requested:  Hold public hearing and, pending public comments and City Commission discussion, move to approve the Order of Vacation.
